Growing up in the heart of the Colombian countryside, I was surrounded by breathtaking mountain landscapes and a deep-rooted coffee culture that shaped my childhood. Some of my most treasured memories are of visiting my uncle and aunt’s farm, where coffee cultivation was not just a livelihood but a way of life. Alongside my cousins, I spent countless days exploring the lush cafetales—vast coffee plantations filled with vibrant green trees and bright red coffee cherries. The experience was truly immersive; from the sweet fragrance of ripening cherries and the earthy aroma of the coffee trees to the rhythmic sound of freshly harvested beans being spread out and carefully stirred under the warm Colombian sun.

As the day came to an end, the unmistakable scent of freshly roasted coffee would fill the air, creating moments that remain vivid in my memory to this day. Watching generations of hardworking farmers dedicate themselves to producing exceptional coffee gave me a profound appreciation for the craft, passion, and tradition behind every cup.
