Growing up in the Colombian countryside, I was surrounded by majestic mountains and immersed in the culture of coffee farming. Some of my fondest memories include visiting my uncle and aunt’s home, where I would spend time with my cousins playing amongst the “cafetales” – their coffee plantations – which were an integral part of their daily lives. I can still recall the aroma of the coffee trees, the sweetness of the cherries, and the sound of the beans being dried and stirred on the ground under the sun, as well as the unforgettable scent of freshly roasted coffee beans. These early experiences fostered my love for coffee and inspired me to create The Colombian Coffee Dealer, where I can share the rich, authentic taste of Colombian coffee with the world.
